Trying to decide which model???

So what's the opinion of the new carbon black color on the X? Worth the extra $ ? I'm leaning towards it

When your spending nearly 15k. You may as well love the color. If i had to pay extra for red i would've. Red and black are my two favs for sure. How much more is it

And if your not 100% in love with the color or want out of the Commander mainstream..... wrap it.... BLR just ordered a $350.00 wrap that looks killer.... and there is many to choose from too

When I ordered my X I had NO idea what color it was going to be...(I ordered it before the release date)
I was glad when they did release the color pictures it was mainly black with a little yellow..
But after almost 2 years Im ready for a color change..so I just bought a wrap..
Should be here soon.
So get the color you want now knowing that you can wrap it later when its all scratched up..

I bought the X. 2013 model for the steering. Took it out day after pick up. Probably drove it too hard, need to ease up and allow some break in time. Rolled it on side once. Tipped it in a really deep hole, had to winch it out. And got stuck in a deep mud pit. Was a blast though. Going to change all fluids before next ride. Was a bitch to clean all that mud off!! Lol anyone from southwest Ohio area?

Sounds like fun in the mud, we mainly have sand dunes and have to drive just to get to trails.
Even thought we get lots of rain in Oregon we don't have any mud pits..

You will affect the break in by changing oil... dont do it. Check ok but dont change it unless its completely necessary.

If you don't mind doing without the power steering you can get great deals on a 1000 X right now. I got mine for a little under $12k out the door. I don't find the manual rack and pinion steering to be difficult at all, but love the Fox racing suspension and other features of the X. Happy I went that way instead of the Limited model.
