Trying to decide which model???

I'm getting very close to a purchase. Wondering if the limited is worth the extra $ ? I really like the X in yellow/black but adding the limited options to it would be costly. Looking for everyone's thoughts.. Thanks

Welcome to CT Sam....what is your main riding terrain....dirt trails, sand duneing, mudding, farm work?...and what Limited features do you feel are a positive for you over an X?

Welcome to the site Sam, let us know what sort of riding you do and the options you want from the Limited vs the X.

going buy the prices for options listed on BRP's site I can get what I want on the X for slightly less than the limited, I am sure I am overlooking some things tho, one item I can not seem to find as an accessory option is the air adjustable ride that is on the limeted. anyone have any experience with this? this will be my first sideXside, so riding type is mostly just trials for now. we'll see...

You caught me out of water on this air ride suspension....I've not even seen one nor talked to someone with one yet....a peep should be able to chime in on this one ....I want to learn about it along with you.

If you want a trail bike that is most likely going to stay mostly stock, and you have 20k to throw at it, go with the ltd. If the air ride is the same as the xmr it has 6 settings. 1 being softest suspension and lowest ground clearance. 6 would be hardest suspension and most ground clearance. However once you reach 30 mph any setting above 3 will automatically be reduced to 3 for safety handling and comfort of ride. The pump for air ride also has the ability to add a line for airing up a tire on the trail. I have heard of a number of people discarding of this system because it prevents most upgrades to suspension, plus its one more electronic to fail on you eventually. With those kind of dollars, i would wait to see what can am has in store for us sept. 22. A sweet new model is supposed to be revealed.

Mudweiser thank's a lot for the info, sounds like the adjustable air suspension is most likely something I would not want. and great info on the new model.... I was like right on the edge of making a purchase probably this week, you saved me from a possible dissapointment...
I thought all the 2013 models were out already, the ones I have been looking at have all been 2013's....

The sport Model is supposed to be announced in September however I dought it would be avalable for a few months after that. It is suppossed to have long travel and more HP.

And an option could be if you don't need a brand new machine is think used....a few for sale now and when a satisfactory sport model hits the showroom, maybe even more private sales and trade-ins to dealers will be cropping up.

From what I have seen in how BRP delivers their Commanders is that there will be one here and one there in late August/Early September, but they do not really start sending quantities of vehicles to be sold until early October.
