Ordered from Fun Center Cycles over in Durango. Seemed like good people. Any experience with them?

Pagosa is a great little town. Knowing what we know now, we would have moved there instead of Chama. We're transplants from swamps of S. La. and weren't that familiar with the area. Not complaining, but we drive to Pagosa 2 or 3 times a month anyway.

About the trails, I had stopped by the ranger station there on my way home from Durango to pick up a map. The ranger explained Colorado's 50" rule for trails so I wasn't really expecting much more than forest roads and such.

Now I understand the Saintlybrees. I'm from S. La. also. Grew up in Baldwin, La. South of Lafayette. Moved to the mountains of Wyoming in the mid 80's. Best thing I ever did.

Small world! I grew up in Luling, just up river from N.O., in St. Charles Parish. We were almost due east of you and lived just off of HWY 90. Went by Baldwin many times on my way to Lafayette.

Moving here was the best thing we ever did, too. We've been here 12 years now and love the area. Miss the food and the fishing, though. But not the heat or the mosquitoes!

Mosquitoes, ya mean the State Bird!!! Yes mostly the food. All family and friends know they are welcome any time, but they better bring seafood with them!
