Hi, all. As I mentioned in another thread, or two, I just placed an order for an 800R XT in CAMO. Should be here around the middle of October.

I live at 8000ft. altitude in the northern mountains of New Mexico, just a few miles south of CO. I have 8 miles or more of old mountain lumber roads on private land to ride out of my back door (literally) and tons of forest roads in S. CO. and between my house and Taos. Tons of day trips.

I used to ride 2 wheel both on and off road and did so for years. Hurt my back and had to give that up. I also have a few acres of land and a very long driveway that needs to be plowed. My Commander will both help me work my property (including snow plowing) AND give me a new toy to play with in lieu of a 2 wheeler.

Gonna be fun and great to meet everyone here!

I've been on a lot of forums over the years for various subjects and, IMHO, the smaller, friendly forums are always the best.

Looking forward to being involved on this one.

    Greetings.
I live in central New Mexico and it is the same here, I can ride out my gate and ride fire breaks and trails all day and come home on a different route, we ride red river nm and go to my home town of Pagosa Springs colo and ride Elwood pass every year also elk hunt around Mt Taylor by grants.
You are going to love your new ride, I have taken it fully loaded over some very steep rocky terrain and my commander has taken it like a champ!! Not one problem so far and I ride a lot.
Camo vinyl for mine and sure do love it, so welcome fellow New Mexican and maybe we will see you on the trail someday.
Keep it wheels down and clear riding to you

    Very cool!

We'll keep our eyes out for you. We plan to ride the forest roads near Pagosa Springs, as well. Pagosa is only about an hour away. Love the town. We go there often as our vet, dentist, and other businesses that we frequent are there.

    Nice looking rig, BTW.

Welcome, new member here also. Just got mine two weeks ago and have over 300 miles on it already. Love it! We will be in your area in a couple of weeks. Going to the Balloon Festival first then up to Farmington for a motor home rally. Have a 4- wheel trip planned on the Garden Trail while we're in Farmington.
Then up to ride the Piaute Trail in Utah for about a week. Should have it broke in by the time I get home.
