And, yeah, it seemed like it took forever for the machine to get here.
I don't think you will have any problem plowing with that Commander....even tho you can't lock up the front, it should do just fine .....with all 4 studded tires and chained up plus 400 lbs of sand in the bed, you'll be pulling tow truck outta the ditches with that bad boy ...how fun will that be!!

No chains yet, but will probably need them. Have now plowed twice and this little dude does a great job. Not being able to lock up the front hasn't been an issue.

Of course, the real winter weather hasn't hit here yet. When we get one of those high mountain (we are at 8000 ft.) storms that last for several days and drop 36" or so, we'll see what it can really do!

    Will do.

BTW, don't know if you noticed my sig, but I used your vids & installed the LTD dash and 650T. Looks great. Thanks for that. I would not have even known that was possible without you taking the time to share.

    Appreciated your efforts!

I bought a 2012 Can Am Commander X 1000, but I put a lot of extras on it, I did not receive it until the first week of October, so I have only been out twice as I had surgery scheduled in October for my shoulder. We only listen to music that is made by the people who are in camp, no radios or iPod type equipment allowed.

The biggest problem now is that it gives me time to think about what accessories I want to add. I get a one time 20% discount on accessories, so I'm doing a lot of thinking (and overtime) lately!
The dealer here has both colors . have you seen both colors in person yet? The Magnesium is nice but personally I think the blue is really cool. pretty cool . congrats and enjoy. p.s. the roof and windsheild is well worth having and the receiver system for the winch is worth its waight in gold works great.
