The code for clearing the "Maintenance Required" banner upon start up. The owner's manual leaves out important steps. I read this elsewhere, tried it and it WORKED!
Here's what you do:
1. With the key OFF, make sure you are in PARK and your seatbelt is NOT fastened.
2. turn the key ON, press and HOLD the reverse override button, press and release the brake pedal and then release the override button.
3. WITHOUT pressing the override button, press and release the brake pedal.
4. repeat step two and turn off the key. (the key will already be on, of course)

You have four seconds to complete this procedure. The "maintenance required" banner came up while I was doing this but once I turned the key back on, it was gone!!!!!! Give it a try and good luck!:showoff:

It is getting spark and the battery is putting out 14 VDC while running. I do need to reset the “Maintenance Required” scroll. If there was an issue with anything else would it flash that? I was thinking that was just for regular maintenance. I just reset it about 3 weeks ago but it came back. Thanks.....

Yes...but are you sure it is getting good spark to both plugs equally? Running rough with 2 new plugs, smelling rich, etc possibly could be one cyclinder firing 100% and the other one is weak. If you can get it fired back up to drive, run it a bit, then pull both plugs and compare.
