    DefaultMaking Mini Side Nets

I thought my first post on this forum would be a "how to" so I could play with photo uploads..!
Had this idea in the back of my mind ever since I removed my side nets. The pics will show how to cut down the original side nets. The long straps left attached were the "load bearing straps" fastened to main belt latch. We folded these over, full length, and sewed to the other 1" strap. My mom did the sewing for me. She is soon to be 81 years old, still runs her own upholstery business, doing work for the public....! This mod gives more freedom, allows seat removal without a hitch also...!
There were two small holes in the side bar loop that I used to thread a zip tie in to hold the belt at the correct height. These mini nets will hold my leg and the leg of my passenger nicely inside.

Nice, that should help them from not getting tangled up in the seats when you want to remove them. I found the full nets a Pain to deal with and removed them. Of cource having a stump rip the drivers side in half forced a decision lol.
