We never received one. I really don't know as a mailing with this will happen. Go to that website and check serial numbers is the mode to follow, at least for now. I have asked elsewhere if anyone knows exactly what was defect from factory and no-one knows for sure.

When I installed the after-mart EPS, I never seen anything from the factory parts nor assembly that indicated anything would fail.

I did get a letter it talks about the shaft coming off the steering gear and causing loss of control. I am not sure it that was an issue at the time the machine was assembled or if the gear or shaft is the wrong size and that is the problem. I am taking mine up to the dealer next week to have h do both recalls I have received plus a couple other things I want him to do. I will let you know what he tells me at that time if no one else finds out before then.

I saw a post like this somewhere else and there are actually 2 recalls out for my 2012. The first is to put a plastic screen in front of the cab to prevent debris (like when in a stream) from going down the tunnel and hanging up on the exhaust then catching fire. So even though my VIN did not have the recall for steering My dealer did the check anyway and found it ok. They are checking how deep the splines go in.. Some special tool that BRP sent to all dealers to check this. Of course this is all said by the dealer at the front counter..........Who knows what goes on in the back room.....
