Hey, Looking into getting a good 12 volt air compressor for the commander but was reading a few reviews that claimed some of the them out there pull too many amps and pop the fuse. Any recommendations on a good one for around the $40-60 range. Was considering a VIAIR. Looks like their model 85P pulls 14.5 amps and the 70P pulls 14. Thanks.

You can throw rotting 'maters at me for this but ..the compressors you mentioned are overkill for just commander tires.....

I use a smaller rechargeable compressor that doesn't have an umbilical cord attached and love it ...might take an extra minute to top off a tire, but that what barley pop and bench racing is for ....a time filler...then recharge it when your done for the weekend

That sounds just right for our riding too....you don't need much of a compressor for the trail ....camp is a whole different story tho
