Was out for a ride last year, when a low battery voltage message came across my screen. I immediately turned the lights off and headed back home. Didn't quite make it before she died on me.

Not sure if it's the stator or voltage regulator.

I performed an ohm test on the stator across the 3 wires and they all read the same .001, and they all had continuity with each other across the terminals.
I didn't check to ground yet, but I'm getting ready to head out and do that.
I also checked for voltage out of the terminals with the engine running (AC voltage) and only got about 1.7 to 2 VAC even when revving it.

Not sure if there's a test for the regulator or not.

Any other insights you guys/gals have would be appreciated.
