Well the wife has been wanting to ride with me for a bit and I was ready to trade the Sportsman 800 for a Sportsman 850 Touring. That was until we sat in a RZR and decided a UTV was the way to go.
We had prepared to drive out to Abernathy's in Union City, TN to pickup a RZR but we decided to shop around the other manufacturers just to be sure that's what we wanted. First stop was the Can-Am shop. The salesman had us test riding a red 1000XT within minutes. We continued to shop around checking out the Rhino, Teryx, Big Red (ugh), Prowler, Ranger and finally the RZR. No decision needed to be made. The overall quality of design, workmanship and engineering makes the Can-Am far above anything the other manufacturers currently have in the marketplace. In my humble opinion of course.
Long story short, the following weekend we brought home our fresh out of the crate 1000XT! The pre-delivery checklist on this forum was a big help also.
Looking forward to getting this thing out onto the trails. Just hope the wife doesn't hide the performance key!
