When I apply the brakes, there is a loud "screech" noise. Any ideas on what may be causing this? It is a 2016 Can Am Commander Max XT 1000

Could be the brake frictions are glazed...take them all off.

Lay a pane of glass on bench with 180 to 220 sandpaper on glass.....spray Brakecleen on pads 2-3 times and let solvents flash off with oils and contaminants before sanding, then scuff pads on sandpaper watching for an even sanding of the whole pad.

I spray the rotors to clean, then lightly sand them to break any glaze also....reinstall pads and go easy on braking the best you can to seat in pads without glazing them.
