Hey Everyone !
I have a 2007 outlander 800 max. the rubber around the 4wd switch is torn. when i turn the 4 wheeler one and switch to 4wd i can hear it trying to engage, but it will not. any sugestions? would replaceing the switch houseing help? Your Suggestions will be precious for me

Hi Micheal ....welcome to CT ...

without more precise info, it sounds like from your description that when you flip the 4.4 switch, you hear the servo motor working but no 4.4? ....that would indicate everything from switch to servo motor is AOK ...and the problem is not a torn rubber boot, but more of a frontend mechanical issue ...can you elaborate more?
