Commander XT suspension

Picked up an ‘18 800XT about 6 months ago and loving it, but I’d like to have a little more ground clearance. Wouldn’t be surprised if there is some sag in the rear springs. Not sure if I want to go with a 2” lift as I’ve heard of some other issues that may come along with it. I’ve swapped out to 28” tires but thinking about suspension now. There are some air shocks off of a limited for sale locally that I’ve thought of picking it up and just putting shrader valves on the hoses to set the air. Would that be decent upgrade?
