Looks great! Very nice job, is the skid molded upwards or do you just manually bend it and secure it in place? (referring to the sides)

We've had great luck with similar design for RZR's, Teryx's and Rhino's. Not a problem though, anybody that wants zero holes gets zero holes, just mention it when ordering.
Was is the function of the holes...drainage? cooling? and advantage of eliminating them?

will having a Long Travel suspension effet the way the control arms attach?

Im pretty sure about ordering a set pretty shortly...

drainage? -- Yes

cooling? -- Definitely makes a big difference in cooling and airflow

advantage of eliminating them? -- strictly would be a customer request kind of thing. We're not a huge cookie cutter kind of shop and do customer one off's all the time.

will having a Long Travel suspension effet the way the control arms attach? -- yes, long travel arms would require custom guards. Once we get our LT kit done we'll have them for that though :)

We pioneered full coverage UHMW protection to the UTV market place several years ago and a quick search on rzrforums.net will provide ample evidence of the popularity of our skids and a-arm guards. Our customers are our best salesmen.

I notice on your site you also have the 2 inch spacers and restraints for sale. Can you take a pic with the spacers installed? Also, can you tell me more about the restraints, like brand and color options? I would love to get the skids but was forced to buy the factory ones from the dealer as part of the right to be able to buy a Commander. Ya I know, it is what it is, and they are 1100.00 dollars too!!

We had a couple dealers in the area tell us the "Can Am is making us purchase accessories so we have to put them on the machine to break even" story :furious: Funny the dealer we bought from sold it to us for MSRP....

We sell DJ Safety and Crow restraints. The ones pictured are DJ Safety yellow with black trim, 3 inch belt, 2 inch padded shoulders. Lots of colors are available. We'll get the spacers pics when we get a chance...

These kinds of dealer statements just burns me up!:furious: I choose my dealer because he does not play any of those games. And he made a comment that stuck with me. Quote: "I have been on the other end of the phone"

We're going to offer 2 skid plate configurations. 1 large main skid like the one pictured above, then a component system similar to what Can Am is doing in Aluminum, but less expensive, lighter, slicker and tougher. After much trial and error we finally got the laterals and front skid finished today. This is a picture of the front skid and you can see the front of the passenger side lateral wrapping around the front edge (red arrow). Will have complete pics and info of everything tomorrow. Turned out beyond what I hoped for

Those look great...:) looks like in the picture that the fit is perfect..and that it has a finished look....:)... I may have to think about about skids...most of our riding is in the sand, but we are also hitting some of the mountain trails now..... and thinking about the Ribicon in the future.....Barbara

Why do 1 full and 1 in pieces??
Most skids, have 1 peice for the body and additional for the arms and front..
But why the option to have the underside in several pieces, am I missing something?

I am not sure but I think it might be for the front lateral protection plates that go with the 5 piece set. I am not sure if those would go on the one piece center or not. If they would, I will probably upgrade to the one piece center.

The skids worked GREAT on my first ride with them. Easy over the rocks, you still get the bang, but not the hang if you know what I mean.. :)
