I have a 2016 commander max 1000. My 4whl drive started not engaging unless I turned the engine off switched either on or off and started the engine! Now it doesn’t work at all. I have diagnosed it as a faulty actuator performing the voltage test on the harness as instructed in the service manual! The very first ( bold letter) warning to replace it, says do not remove actuator unless machine is in 4x4. Is there a manual way to engage it, or am I missing something? As it stands 2whl is all I have and will not engage into 4whl at all! Thanks for any advice, fist time posting but I like what I see whith this forum!
