Thanx for the link...if CanAm thinks this will help that much from the "exploding belt syndrome", kudos to them and us ☺

I've only replaced one belt at 1800 miles on my commander and it was my fault. I knew better and my foot hit the skinny pedal when it should have been on the brake. Lol! And I just smoked the belt , might have been run able but I changed it. But that's the first belt I have had to change in ownership of 3 SXS,s with over 6100 miles on them. Not including 2 atvs with about the same miles.

I have to say, the wife bought a 2011 Commander , has 5700 miles with only 3 exploded belts...2 at higher speed Nevada desert trail runs and 1 in the Oregon dunes.

She has a 15 XDX now and went 1850 miles.....I just changed the original for a 212 belt just for preventive reasons. The one I pulled off still measures within specs and is a standby belt for any of our 3 Rotax machines.....we have NOOO complaints with belt longitivity at all.
