Can some of you who already drive a Commander comment on the amount of heat from the engine/exhaust system that makes its way into the cargo bed? When I load my working dogs into a stock Rhino the metal parts of the bed are way to hot. Canam did a good job keeping any heat out of the bed of our Traxtor XL's using heat shields and a plastic bed material.

Well on the stock config the exhaust canister is pretty low which will likely help with heat transferring into the bed. I do not have one, therefore, cannot speak all that much in regards to bed heat.

Dogs

Had my dog in mine this weekend no problem with heat at all. Teaching her keep the helmet on was the hard part. [email protected]
Thanks RM,
My dogs sometimes spend hours in the bike at very low speeds in very rough country and are then expected to work hard for many more hours so being cool in the bike is important.
