I just wanted to say hello to everyone and thank you for all of the great information. The excitement level is definitely high and I can hardly wait to see your new rides. We are expecting delivery soon in northern Nevada.
Do you have suggestions for a good trailer to haul our Commanders on?

I'm using a 5x8 without a gate. That's the absolutely smallest trailer you could use for the Commander. Anything larger will be good if your just hauling the Commander. I won't be able to add anything to the Commander to make it wider, ie spacers, or long travel. You may want to consider that if you're going too.

Nice to have you with us Chet :wavespin: Look forward to seeing you around often, feel free to spread the word about us.

In regards to your trailer question...can I assume you are referring to a utility type trailer or more of a Toy Hauler?

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Yes Barbra, I was looking for a utility type trailer. We have a lot of dirt roads out here, some you can drive 60mph on, others are pretty rutted with large rocks. So, I'll need something that is durable. The commanders are 1300 lbs dry, so with a skid plate system, heavy duty bumpers, gas and whatever else I can cram in, I'm thinking of a heavier duty trailer.
Thanks again folks, looking forward to a great experience.

(edited from my last post, sorry about the confusion with Barbara and dieselpowered...I'm just too excited about the new Commander and all that)

Howdy back at you!
I see that several members are from AZ. I spent several years there living in Flagstaff and travelling to Sedona/Slide Rock, Case Grande, Williams and Prescott. There is a lot of beautiful and big country there which I am sure you are all enjoying.
Thanks agin for the kind welcome.
