Hi all!
Brian here from Black Rhino...

3 different types of dunes? Can you elaborate a little?
Florence/South Jetty....can drive on the beach, Foredune trails, some taller dunes, wide open dunes & trails. Sand , Forest Service & a couple of private sites camping areas..
open 6am to 10pm

Winchester Bay/ where they have Dunefest in Aug. Mainly open dunes and it also has the biggest dunes of all 3...smallest area of the 3, no beach riding. and the famous banshee Hill that goes up thru the trees. lots of Sand Camping, and several county & private sites available..Douglas county caters to the off-roaders.
open 24/7

Spinreel/Hauser/Horsefall..this is where Sandfest is held in July...open dunes, has the most trails of all 3, drive on the beach, has a few wide open areas, and also several whoop raods. ..Sand Camping, private & county sites. Coos County also supports off-roaders
open 6am to midnight

Everyone that rides these areas have their favorites for one reason or another
