HMF is currently seeking a Can Am Commander that we can use to R&D an exhaust system for. For those of you who don't know, we have been building race winning 4 stroke exhausts for over a decade now. We are located in Brookpark OH which is a suburb of Cleveland. We would need the machine for about 2 weeks. We will need to put the machine on the dyno to obtain HP, torque, and tuning info. Some field testing will be involved as well. In return for letting us use the machine, we will be offering one of our exhaust systems at no charge along with a considerable discount on a fuel controller if one is needed. Please feel free to ask questions and thanks in advance!

Nice, can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

I definately think that you should have a system that keeps the lower cargo area as well as a system that raises the stock location, which would require a bed delete or the removal of the lower bed storage.

We are hoping to do at least two different configurations. People will be using the Commander for a lot of different things and we want to have something to suit everyones needs.

HAHA! We had to go have some fun on it and get a seat of the pants feel for power before throwing the wrenches at it. Well give you guys a sneak peak sound clip in a few days! Thanks for those who have given feedback on what they would like to see this far. For those of you who haven't, speak up!

We will have a few options to work with.
Our Swamp Series is a hair louder than stock. --> With quiet core insert it will be a hair quieter than stock.
Our Swamp XL will probably be between 98 and 100 dbs. --> With quiet core insert probably 96-98 dbs
Our super top secret race setup will probably be 100+:sneaky:

Were still early in the prototype stages so these are just guestimates.

I'd like to see a single and a dual pipe combo available for the commander with the sound of the swamp xl personally. I've been toying with a swamp xl on my Renegade also and love the sound and "maintenance free" aspect the most.

What we have decided on is Swamp and Swamp XL slip on exhaust systems as well as a dual "half" system. The slip on fits in place of the OE silencer and both systems maintain the under-bed storage unit. The dual will use the OE front and rear head pipes and replace everything from there back.

Bajabuggin I will call you shortly.
