Not sure why type of phones everyone uses, however, if you are with Verizon Wireless and are eligible for an upgrade, take a look at the Motorola Droid X...what an incredible phone! I had the original Motorola Droid, then the HTC Droid Incredible, and now the Motorola Droid X. This is by far the best phone I have ever owned!

Actually if you like the Android platform look into a phone that uses that. I am not familiar with AT&T's phones except for the one that loses signal when held on to.
