My Commander test ride at Dunefest

This was my 2nd ride in the Commander at Dunefest...

My 1st test drive my husband forgot to video tape and then when we switched and he drove I forgot to video tape his:furious:

Neither of us thought it steered hard
The power is awesome (we have a 800 rotax in our rhino) stab the throttle and in 2wd it would kick the rearend loose.
We are kinda use to wire throttle (our TJ jeep is wire) didn't notice a hesitation like some have said (but in the sand you don't just ease down)
I felt I could keep up on the trails with RZR guys, handled good for an XT with stock tires (lots of air in the tires for the sand)
I seen a picture on the RZR forum that someone put up about no leg room ( he never moved the seat back) I thought there was plenty of room.

So I had a friend take the test drive so I could video tape...The course was a little tight that day to many other riders out there to just romp on it.

I also will put a video of my ride with Jon Crowley :) :giggle:

At the end of our ride I shot a little footage of all the campers and rigs out there for Dunefest 2010 Winchester Bay Oregon.
Can't wait till my X gets here in Oct.

Thanks for the great review Barbara. It is good to start hearing different riders opinions.I believe a lot of people are trying hard to find fault with the commander.
There is one thing I did notice in the video and that was a constant "squeeking" noise. Was that coming from the unit or was there some cargo in it that was causing that?....Thanks again for your review..Cheers!

Noise was something to do with my camera, cause as we were riding I didn't hear the noise and neither did the one driving
