Well Red Bull supports off-roading and Crowne Royal supports racing, funny thing, when you combine them you get off-road racing and a great drink :)
It's damned confusing to me ....for instance, Coors light gives to the enviros along with supporting motorized racing ....many facets of racing at that .....so I look at corporates like that as riding the fence to make EVERYONE happy ....not totally on the enviros side like some brewers are ....especially the PNW microbrew dudes......Coors light may be one of the lesser of all evils?

They must support off road racing...the only state in the west where they are not sold....OREGON & upper the northeast...

Who would have thought a brewery would not support off roading. I will have to make sure I only drink from companies that dont want to take away my fun.

Maybe we should start a ongoing list of off-road supporters of all kinds. Or at least a list of companies that clearly don't support off roading.

Thats my thoughts Bryan ...a list that do support us...let's not focus on the ones that do give to the green side as when we are looking for just that and find it, we stop and assume they dont also support us as well.....

This has been a mission of mine since I found out that my favorite Beer... does not want us not to ride our public lands...

these are just a few of the businesses that we may not want to do business with...of course New Belguim Brewing, Ninkasi brewery, REI, Ben & Jerry's, Burts Bee's, Keen, patagonia are just a few to stay away from..

Thanks Barbara, they will make it on my avoid list.
Sad thing is I really like Keen shoes and Patagonia stuff, but I like off roading more.

OK found breweries we can support, they may donate to both sides but all I can hope is mine goes to the OHV side...

Oregon...Rogue Brewery

California..Sierra Nevada
here's a letter I received from them

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for taking the time to write, and thank you for thinking of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in regards to Off Highway Vehicle enthusiasts.

We have been supportive of the off-road community, and many of us here at the brewery participate in OHV rides often. The Rubicon is a rite of passage for many of us in Chico, and we would be truly saddened if there wasn’t a place for off-road recreation in the wilderness here in Northern California.

That said, as far as I know we have not made any recent contributions to OHV groups, but I also don’t believe we have been solicited for donations either.

We believe that there should be a balance in preserving wild lands for nature and wildlife, as well as creating spaces for people to use for recreation. Our primary motivation in our conservation efforts is keeping the wilderness wild and unspoiled so that when we have the chance to get out and enjoy it, it remains unencumbered with the trappings of urban life. This includes OHV.

We feel that there can—and should be—a balance between preservation and common use. We all need to work together to find a happy medium between conservation, preservation and access, and would welcome any dialogue from the off-road community on how to better achieve these goals.

Thank you again for writing, and I hope this letter clarifies our position.

Sincerely,

Bill Manley

OHVBrew sounds good or OHVBeer...When you make the site to sell beer I think you would get more hits if you added 4x4.

4x4OHVbrewery.com or ohv4x4brewery.com

We done that added 4x4 to a site and it worked we got many more hits, cause of the word 4x4:)

A fan of STRD told me about this beer so I called them had a long chat about OHV's and if they support us and they do...but it's such a small brewery that they are only in the Portland area 3 hrs from us, well another friend seen where I had posted this on STRD and look what followed him to Florence tonight..

Thanks Lance S...on a side note...it's a very tasty Pale Ale
