So now that this has happened to me, I see that is a pretty regular occurrence with the Can-Am's, 800's and 1000's. Does anyone have any input on this issue? Is it a reoccurring issue once it has started? I've had no doubts in my Can-Am until now at 1500 miles when this issue showed up. A guy I work with has an 800 that had to be taken in twice for this issue already, just wondering in BRP is recognizing they have a problem here and will make it right or just keep changing seals and band-aiding it.. The worst part is I won't be able to ride on this long weekend unless they get it done in the next couple days or give me a loaner, we'll see!

Turns out BRP had some rusty cranks and they cleaned them up with emery cloth, that's why a few of us are having these seals leak oil into the clutches. If it's done right it's not suppose to be a problem, being done in a direction 90 degrees to the shaft, basically start the engine and hold an emery cloth on it. Got mine back from the dealer last night so we'll see if it's a permanent fix or not, got a new belt out've it at least :smoke:
