Here are a few pics of My One Piece TB custom cage I have been working on to pack my three kids around with us.
Installed a 42" Rear bench that holds three passengers.
Let me know what you guys think so far?
I also built a large cooler rack for the rear of the cage as well.
Thanks for the input,

Looks good my friend and welcome to the site!

I know it is still in process, however, do you plan on any sort of cross member or intrusion bars on the front?

I imagine you are likely to place some bracing for the pillars as well?

Its looking really nice though...have some nice lines! What was it constructed from? You going to do a roof? Canvas, metal, or molded plastic?

Also, before you powder coat, maybe consider some light or whip tabs.

Good job!

Thanks everyone, Its nice to get a few opinions before I finish it up.
I built it from 2" .095 wall DOM, Yes I did do more bracing, As for the intrusion bar up front, The boss got her way on that one, she doesnt like the looks of the Vbar up front, Fabricating the roof out of aluminum, I will use Zeus tabs to mount it. Also mounted some speaker brackets from the corner bracing on the center bar.
Thanks again everyone.

Sorry one last suggestion. When you do the roof, consider putting some weather stripping or something between the cage and roof. I have an aluminum roof and it rattles something fierce.

Would love to see some pictures of the final product!

Nice job. How thick of aluminum are you using for the roof? If its 1/8" or above, In lieu of zeus fasteners I would weld tabs and bolt it on. It will give the cage a lot of strength in a side rollover. With the kids in that back does the front end feel light? Can 2 adults fit?
