I have searched and searched through this thread. I stripped the rack and pinion in my rear diff last weekend. The number on my rear end is 705502000. Its a 2013 1000 X carbon fiber. 100 hrs. I am curious if there is any upgrade so this doesn't happen again as easy as it did!

The simplest upgraded rearend to install is from an XMR. A more difficult install, but better strength rearend, is from the Maverick. So yes, you have options. The new 2016 Commander rearend is an upgrade also, but not certain what is involved for installing it yet.

When googling the 2015 commander it says there is an upgraded rear end with beveled gears to help with noise but will that strengthen it? Also does anyone know if any mods must be done to make the '15 rear end fit in a '13 commander, if it does strengthen.
