I just purchased a 2012 Commander Limited. I had a 2011 Outlander 800 Max Limited and knew they had some drive train noise. The Commander Limited is almost unbearable. It only has 1300 miles and has never even been in the mud. There has got to be a fix for these high dollar machines.

If the noise is really annoying, then you probably bought someone else's bad rear end. These older machines have the straight cut ring and pinions and so many have to be replaced. The newest rear ends are good now. If the rear end tag # ends in 391, 411 or 506, it may need replaced. Use the search feature here to read up more on these howling rear ends.
