Scott said Sept. they are recieving 10 of them(a Salem dealership either lost BRP or is going out of business not sure which it is) so they are getting theirs also and all are sold.....glad we got ours when we did...While we were there someone called up wanting 2-X's. Scott told him they were both sold. whoever it was calling was willing to pay $1000 over MSRP, glad that SK Northwest has morals & $ don't talk....

Just got a quote back from one of the local dealers here in the Houston, TX area. I asked for a quote (out the door, cash price) on a Commander 1000X with the following add-ons, full black roof, winch and half windshield. Here is the price I was quoted... $17,976.93 out the door. Seems way to high to me. Guess I'll be looking around for a better deal. No word on when this dealer was to receive any.

Did he give you a break down on the quote? He was probably quoting you MSRP on every thing plus some inflated fees. Did you try to negoiate the numbers?

On your quote did it spell out what each accessory cost is...I would ask 1st what the cost is without any options...MSRP..and go from there

You just dropped a chunk of change, I would ask for a discount on the accessaries. You can get a complete roof with lights and sound system for less the OEM wants for a roof with a couple Halogens only.

I said May order and also that is without any discount I was just refering to what MSRP suggest.....Barbara

For my type of riding I'm not interested in lighting mounted on the roof...to many trees...lol...Barbara

Yea I have that too many trees going also lol. I found that lights on the roof are way better than down low for a few reasons. The first is that when mouted low thay get Muddy real quick limiteding vision. The roof mounted lights give me better vision overall. I have 4 that can be adjusted to different positions Illuminateing front, down and to the sides. Food for thought.

We have roof mounted lights on our Rhintax and I'm not happy with them to much glare on the hood....maybe having shrouds at bottom of lights may help

Ok the breakdown clears up some things. The $14,699.00 is the MSRP however that was the total number not the starting number. $13,814.00 is the lowest i have seen yet.

I emailed the salesman back, told him I thought he was way to high on the price and requested a break down of the quote. Haven't heard back yet.
