Commander purchases...
We looked at a Commander 1000XT at a local dealer last week. Impressive... We put 3 deposits down for 1-1000XT, and 2- 1000X models. Later that day it went around our friends what we were buying. The next day we ordered 4 more, 1-1000XT and 3-1000X's. I am so excited to get the newest baddest SXS. All 7 of us are Rhino owners... just so disappointed Yamaha let us down. We all wanted bigger, badder, and better... I saw a video from a local club racing a Rzr S against a 1000XT. The Rzr got spanked. Next, they ran the local track and the Rzr S got spanked worse. So far Can Am is walking the walk. We'll see...

I don't suppose you can hook me up with one of the 1000 X's lol.
I think Can-Am did their homework and is going to provide a hell of a machine for everyone!

No one manufacture will make something everybody will like, everyone will have an issue with whatever they buy. Lance & I have been waiting 2 years for the Commander to come out, and its not exactly what I wanted, I like everything except for the 2nd storage area. I'm waiting to see what Muzzy's will be doing for exhaust then I will decide what I need to do.
I have an X ordered and I believe that if you are a good driver (drive it like you stole it... LOL) you can get it to rip around like the RZR S guys say it won't do...LOL

maybe not sure i went and made a deposit and canceled the order i still have my hopes that yamaha will bring something new to the table as for right now im just finishing a couple of builds i have and then its time to get back into building a 1450 race truck

I ordered one. Red 1000XT. I purchased my first Outlander in 07. Then in 08 they made some changes, so I purchased the 08. Then in 09 they made some more changes, so I got the 09 limited. Then in 2010 they made more changes, but I ordered the COMMANDER instead!!

First one available from our dealer "September" it's a 1000XT and has our name on it. We would have taken any of the 1000's but I'm actually glad it's the XT, that's what I would have chosen anyway.

September seems to be the common time frame I am hearing. I have heard December from one or two places.

I probably won't be buying a commander as I already have Teryx's that I need to pay for, but the first time I meet one on the trail if it can spank my 2010, with the 840 and LT kit I will be in the can-am shop the next day!!

Me too...Xelvic, I stopped by Ridenow yesterday just to poke around..its too bad but they really dont know anything about the commmander at all.. kinda disappointing...one of guys who does know dirts bikes just said that they have just too many brands to carry to know them all...poor excuse in my book... I suggested they go here
